    Description

    A white background surely would have shown off the real beauty of this set. Very unusual to find the makers' sewn in label that reads "The Royal Registered Aug.10, 1880". Top has embroidered lace around collar, bodice and layers of pin tucks. Embroidered lace also on bell shape wrist and waist of skirt/gown. Layers of ruffles on skirt/gown. Some wear at top of back bodice, as pictured, and a hole the size of a quarter in back at ruffled hem, as pictured. There is no waist closure on skirt. Measurement of top is 19" long, 16" shoulder to shoulder, 21" long sleeves, 36" around underarms. Skirt is 38" long in front and 58" long in back, 26" around waist. Item # 6B-46
